Crackers Over The Keyboard Day

August 28th is “Crackers Over The Keyboard Day”. I love the fact that there are so many crazy holidays out there but … Crackers Over The Keyboard Day?

I am not sure if that means I am supposed to grab my Oreo cookies (which I hate!), Club crackers or Saltines and blog away about it. Hmmm…. I think I will stick to my Subway instead. I think it will be much easier to pick out some lettuce strands, or provolone cheese from my keyboard.

If by some chance someone decides to do this in celebration of the day, do we tip the keyboard over and let the crumbs fall? Or do we whip out our can of spray air and hope that all keys will work properly afterward. I think it would really suck to have an Oreo cookie chunk stuck under my delete button, especially since I use a laptop and that would not be easily replaceable.

Butt Sniffing

Why do dogs sniff each others butts and ours as well? It does not matter if you have two dogs and they have been living and sleeping together for years they still manage to sniff each others butts almost daily. Or when you have company over, go outside and the damn dog has his/her nose so far up your friends butt. It is totally embarrassing!!

I had a friend come over a few years ago to do some work in our backyard. My dog could not stay out of his butt the entire time, I was so embarrassed. I finally said, "I am so sorry, I don't know why she won't leave you alone." His response just about killed me, he said, "Well, it must be the Taco Bell I had for lunch today!!" Oh my! I laughed so hard.

I have since learned that dogs have a gland in their anus, it attracts other dogs to sniff it and let them know their mood, if they are afraid, etc. I am so glad that I am human and only smell cologne, parfum and have to shake hands with one another.

If a word in the dictionary were misspelled, how would we know?

You remember those days back in school, right? Hey Mom how do you spell 'superior' ? If you were old enough to know the alphabet you were probably told to look it up in the dictionary. So there you go flipping through until you find the word that would closely represent the spelling of 'superior'. Because your parent told you that the correct spelling would be there, you trusted that source as everyone else would.

My question is, if there is one mistake in the dictionary and it were not caught - would all of us go throughout life misspelling that word? You can't just go back and change it at the next printing because that would cause problems all over the world. Or would that just become the "correct spelling"?

Why Do Men With Hairy Bodies Tend To Go Bald?

You see them everywhere, sporting their shiny bald heads, they even grow goatees to camoflauge their baldness. These men have a plethora of hair on their arms, chest, legs and even facial hair. So why is it that their hairlines start to receed and these men give in to the razor? Some even try the combover for a short while. (eeewww!) My brother in law has got to be the most hairy man I have ever seen, early in his 20's though the hairline started its work and began receeding. Before it hit the halfway mark he gave in to the razor. It looks great on him as it does on most bald men when they give in but .....why does that happen?

How come there aren't B batteries?

If you look around at all the batteries, the most commonly used and/or required for most items are: AAA, AA, C, D and 9 Volt. Why do you suppose someone left out the "B" battery?

Well I have done some research and it appears that one time there was a "B" battery. It appears that they were used in antique radios and somewhat obsolete now.

Why do you suppose they just simply did away with them? Could they not have been reconfigured for some other toy or remote?

My husband and I were out with some friends Saturday evening. From across the bar this is what we saw. Then after some time she proceeded to tuck both of her legs under her and sit on them while on a bar stool. Now, I don't disagree that sitting with your legs tucked under you on a barstool takes some significant talent. Especially after enjoying a few alcoholic drinks but.... come on! Quite frankly I could have easily dropped a quarter, straw, fork or any other item in her jeans without even coming close to touching this woman.

So the thing that makes me go hmmmm...... is: Does she think its sexy? Maybe they were new but this woman was not even trying to cover her plumber crack. Am I the only one that has ever heard of size appropriate clothing? Does she not know that this is mosquito season? Can you imagine an ass full of mosquito bites in the morning? Hmmmmm......

Today Is National Underwear Day!!

Oh My Goodness!

Today is National Underwear Day, what in the hell does that mean? Do we go without underwear, wear special underwear, or make sure they show when we bend over like the photo above?

Who comes up with these crazy days? And personally I want to know who celebrates them?

I would absolutely LOVE for someone to comment on this one.

Personally I think my son celebrates this one everyday. He loves to run around the house in boxers only - not just today but everyday.....

Things that make you go hum?

Why that title? Well I used to blog about my business and I just couldn't get into it. I have one of those strange minds that comes up with some real doozies so I thought it might be fun to blog about everyday things that make us all go hmmmm.......

Kinda like why there are 8 hot dog buns in a pack and 10 hot dogs in pack. Why do they show tampon commercials on Nickelodean? (I hate that!) Why do I get stuck next to fat or smelly people on an airplane?
